Celebrating Women for the Real World

About Sheri & SuZan

Sheri and SuZan have been friends for over ten years with very different households.

Sheri is a mother of three children from a previous marriage, ages 20, 18, and 15. She has been married to James (JK on the Run) for over ten years and has 3 step daughters. Sheri is currently employed as an office manager/bookkeeper for a law firm; member of the High School’s Booster Club and has been past PTO President of the area Elementary School.

SuZan is currently separated and has one 20 year old son (she swears he counts for 3). She has been a therapist in her local school district and currently works with patients through home health; she was a member of the High School’s Booster Club and past Advancements Chairman in a local Boy Scout Troop.

They are both passionate about their lives and try to find humor with different perspectives regarding the crazyness of raising teenagers.

  4. You and I are doing completely different things…but using the same title. It seems to me that it might clear up confusion if we acknowledge each other and link our sites. Please read on and let me know if you think this idea makes sense.

Celebrating Women (powerHouse Books, 2004) is my photographic book about festivals all over the world that honor women; my website promotes the book and encourages women to become involved with women’s issues around the world.

My Celebrating Women exhibit was the first ever curated by the International Museum of Women in San Francisco; was seen by 195,000 people at the Field Museum in Chicago last year; is currently on display at UNESCO international HQ in Paris.

I’d be honored to collaborate with you two in some way. RSVP!
