Hurricane Eduard?

**********Updated*******

See below

Dear Ed:

You are obviously a “him-o-cane” as opposed to a hurricane.  Why?  All this unnecessary preparation due to the fear you instill, then you weasel out, loose strength, and head north.  Not like Katrina.  Katrina – now THAT was a “her-o-cane”.  She came in and gave everyone hell!  Next time, could you change your mind a bit sooner?  See, I was hoping to get a free day off from work.  Not happening!  Think about it next time, OK?

Love,

Me

Oh, Lighten up.  You’ve got to poke some fun at a situation that could have been devastating.  It’s not, so I can.  Below is MY idea of Hurricane Preparedness.

Hurricane Preparedness by you.

Venti, triple shot, skinny vanilla cappuccino.  Ahhhhhhhh!

********Editd to add this warning I just received via email*******

Tropical storm force winds may result in minor wind damage today. Newly planted trees and shrubs may be uprooted if not secured properly. Some small twigs will separate from trees. Residents should move unfastened items, such as garbage cans and deck furniture, indoors.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now see here, this is a ‘classy’ hiomocane – it’s Edouard, not Eduardo… sounds all fancy like… 🙂

I’m at work too, and made it here in record time – why? Well as the news and radio stations said, ‘looks like everyone listened to the mayor and stayed home!’… yeah, not us! Only open office in the building.

grumble, grumble, grumble – I was looking forward to a day off. 😛

As much as I agree with your gender classification of this hurricane… I am so glad that you all are not in any immediate danger.

Sorry that you missed your day off.

And here I thought it was because it had a boy name instead of a girl name. 🙂

I would just like a break form the 107 daily temps, please, Ed.
