Celebrating Women for the Real World

Another Peaceful Night in the C-Y-P

sunday night

I’m in the kitchen and all of a sudden I hear “Help me please! I’m bloody and handcuffed”. THAT got my attention. I tell big G what I heard, and ask him to go out and see what is going on. After a birage of questions that I cannot answer we all go out and investigate.

Once outside, six police cars come rolling up and then an ambulance, the ambulance parked right in front of our house. Apparently, in a house on my street (down at the other end), this guy was being held along with another guy and they were told they were going to be killed. One of the victims escaped and was running down the street yelling for help.

He ended up knocking on our neighbor’s door two houses down and the home owner saw that he was handcuffed and let him in and called 911.  We finally came back in the house around 10:30 and don’t have any more details.

Green Acers is sounding pretty nice about now…

On another note; do you see what we are in for?

Weather Map

Okay, I am not going to lie. I am a little jealous of all that excitement. maybe you had a Jeffrey Dahmer on your street. That guy could have been “what’s for dinner” oh oh or “the other white meat”.

Holy Crap! You are going to have to find out the scoop on what went down! 🙂

As for Edouard, I had NO IDEA there was even a storm out there. Gah. Try to take one piddly weekend without being plugged into the world, and what-do-you-know. My prediction? It will either turn north at the last minute and we’ll get diddly squat, or it will come directly through, but on one will worry about it until AFTER we are all at work. 😛 hahahaha

I think the N.O. hurricane brought the crazies to H-Town. They never left.
