No Fug just dribble
No Fug today, this girl has got to be better about having a camera WITH HER and ready to go. We had the perfect Fug. We were headed out to dinner and at a stop light an old truck with a trailer pulled up next to us. Big G said (under his breath) “Gah dude, put on a shirt” as the guy got out of his truck to check on the trailer and yes, he had no shirt on and yes he should have.
So we are waiting for the light and Big G mumbles again “Ok, now he’s got to get another beer”; the guy jumps out of his truck again (still at the stop light) goes to the trailer where there is a cooler strapped to it, and can you guess what he pulled out? Yea…a beer….CLASSY!

So we found out that we have been nominated for an award! Arleen at Crazy….Yeah and Mrs. DallasK both nominated us (insert blushing here). Thank you ladies you know we think you rock too.
We will have to get back to you because I think we need to nominate some of you guys too, but I’m still dealing with dilated eyeballs and am having trouble reading blogs.

The most exciting thing this week for me was Wednesday. I had my eye appointment and yes I am a good candidate for Lasik (hence the dilated eyeballs, and they plugged up my ducts too). I originally wanted to have it ASAP but I think I need to prepare myself first, so my appointment is a week from Friday and then NO MORE GLASSES! I can’t tell you how excited, scared, and nervous I am to get this done.

And finally, the fabulous Ms. Sheri does not mess around. She did it; she decided to enter the ranks of a mid life crisis and got a convertible (hey…those were her words). Check out her new ride:
…and YES we will be breaking it in with a road trip to Big D. Now, does your hair stay in place if you tease it and put a gallon of hair spray on it when the top is down (since we are going to the land of big hair and shiny shoes)?

Wishing you the best on the Lasik – scary, yes but my friends that had it done have been very happy with it. One had blurred vision for a bit and had doubts… but within about 4 weeks it cleared up and she’s been incredibly happy. (Just giving you a heads up so if you have blurry vision in one of your eyes for a couple weeks, don’t fret. Give it healing time.)

| Posted 16 years, 9 months agoI will be excited to hear how your Lasik’s goes. I want to get it done too but they say that your eyes need to be consistent for 2 years and that has yet to happen for me.
As far as the hair/convertable issuee goes, just a heads up… what ever side of your head is near the center of the car will be 4 times as big as the opposite side by the time you are done!

So funny about the FUG guy – odd how there are some people you can just tell what they are going to do next…
I’ll have to look at the car when I get home (stupid work filters) but YAY for the new ride!!!! 🙂
However, I think the more aquanet used, the more bugs get stuck in your hair… I’ll just go au naturale and take my chances. 🙂
